Cancellation Policy

Host cancellations

Visits to our gardens or workshops may be cancelled by the host in the following circumstances:

  • The weather conditions are so adverse as to make a visit unsafe; or
  • Due to illness or personal reasons.

In the event that a host cancels a visit to their garden or workshop, we will let you know by email as soon as possible. 

You will be issued with a credit voucher to use at a later date, or a refund. We reserve sole discretion to choose whether we provide a refund or credit voucher in each circumstance.

Visitor cancellations

Many of our visits and workshops get sold out several days prior. In fairness to the hosts, if you can’t attend we encourage you, in the first instance, to try and find a friend or family member who can take your place. 

Should you cancel a visit to a host garden or workshop more than 48 hours prior to the session, you are entitled to a refund of 50% of the total booking cost.

Should you cancel less than 48 hours prior to the session, you will not be entitled to a refund.

We acknowledge that personal circumstances may prevent you from attending a booked session. In certain circumstances we may use our discretion to provide you with a full refund on compassionate grounds. Please contact us if you feel that your booking fee should be refunded on compassionate grounds.
