If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to turn garden-grown flowers into a professional looking bouquet, this workshop is for you.
While this is the second session in our series, it is designed so that anyone can jump right in. You don’t need to have attended our first workshop, and you certainly don’t need any prior experience. Jo will be there to guide you through every step of the process in a relaxed, beginner-friendly environment.
We will start the morning with a walk through Jo’s garden to see what’s in bloom this late summer. Then into the Boathouse to get hands-on.
In this session, you will learn:
Vase Techniques: How to arrange flowers effectively in larger vases.
The Spiral Method: Jo will demonstrate how to create a "Hand-Tied Spiral Bouquet" using fresh flowers she has picked from the garden that morning.
Your Own Creation: You’ll spend the afternoon creating your own bouquet, with plenty of help along the way. We’ll have ribbons and paper available to give your work a polished finish.
Photography: We’ll finish by taking some photos of your arrangements before you take them home to enjoy!
NOTE: If you would like to book a private workshop for a group of friends or colleagues, email us at [email protected] and we can 'make arrangements' :-)
What you'll need
Please bring a jug or vase (approx. 20cm tall) to transport your bouquet home safely .... and don't forget your creativity, fun, and laughter. We’ll provide the rest!
